This position will be responsible for the development of software to support our DVD project. This includes developing software for a system that will write MPEG-2 data to DVD-R, DVD-RAM, or DVD-RW. This position will be responsible for maintaining the current Flash DVD software and eventually training a junior engineer to take over this maintenance responsibility. The critical responsibility of this position is to develop a thorough understanding of the various DVD File Structures at a very basic level so that productivity enhancements can be built into the existing system. Skills C, Visual Basic, Windows NT, MPEG Video, DVD Format, Interest in learning basic DVD writing technologies and applying a general background in software and engineering to provide unique products.
